CircusLondon PR Press Day

Circus London PR had their Press Day and we were there to show our current collection and our New Season Influences for Spring/Summer 2015

Inspired by the desire to offer “DIY” fashion looks for those kids who dare to be different, we invited talented artists to customise our wellies which we aim to translate into detachable style kits to accompany our boots.

We absolutely love the Lolita style wellies created by designer Katherine Rose, (www.therosesaresilent.blogspot.co.uk) shown in combination with the full outfit which she made herself!

Next, the artist Dulcie Horn (www.dulciedulcie.com) who makes feather head-dresses has created an amazing festival look with our wellies.

Last but not least, we adore the work of Dutch artist Claudia de Jong-Vaandrager (www.decootje.nl) who has incorporated her amazing signature of “flowers, glitter & girly” onto our boots.

Stay in touch to see how we translate the above into style kits.

In the goodie bag we made sure we gave the visitors a tin with Stroopwafels (delicious Dutch syrup waffles) that went down well and attached a special sneek preview of our socks & tights collections by TollyDollyPosh #TDPbyMooienLief.

16 year old Chloe Vell signs up as brand ambassador for Dutch brand, Mooi en Lief

Mooi en Lief is delighted to announce the signing of international dressage rider and fashion model, Chloe Vell, as its new brand ambassador. In her new role, Chloe will advise and support Mooi en Lief to build awareness in the equestrian youth market, promoting the brand in a fashionable way.

Chloe Vell is a highly talented 16 year old dressage rider who rides and models internationally. She has represented Great Britain ("GB") on Pony and Junior teams in International competitions since the age of 12, including European Championships and was part of the winning GB junior team at the Nations Cup in 2013. She also holds a British dressage national title and is now part of the Excel talent pathway for the British Equestrian Federation. Reflecting her extensive experience, Chloe writes a blog for the Horse & Hound magazine. Next to that, Chloe is also an accomplished model in her own right having already modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Pull and Bear and Company magazine to name a few. Her dream is to one day ride a horse within the GB senior team and to run a yard teaching others the art, beauty and skill of dressage.

Mooi en Lief is a Dutch brand, offering quirky wellington boots for young children and teens. Their boots are about making a statement. Being different, daring to stand out from the crowd, even to be a bit quirky. Inspired by the image of a chandelier in a child´s room and graffiti on a bedroom wall, the boots are designed for children but through the eyes of an adult. Having worked with international artists to create a collection of boots incorporating 3D elements and which are deliberately edgy in design, the brand believes they bring something innovative and fashionable to the category.

Jacquelina Deerenberg, General Manager of Mooi en Lief, says "We are incredibly excited to have Chloe as our brand ambassador. Her achievements and experience in dressage so far, and at such a young age are incredible and no doubt serve as an inspiration to many. Add to that a successful modeling career and an influential blog with the Horse & Hound magazine led us to seek a collaboration with Chloe to build brand awareness in the equestrian market. Whilst, wellington boots are often associated with equestrian activities, it’s important to us to present our brand in a stylish & fashionable way. Hence our desire to appoint Chloe as our brand ambassador."

Chloe Vell, says "I am very excited to be Mooi en Lief's brand ambassador and I look forward to what's to come in the future in regard to our collaboration. I have a passion for combining fashion and equestrianism and have some ideas which will be exciting to develop. I feel confident that the experiences I have gained in the fashion industry and as an international dressage rider will help contribute to the success of the brand."
